With the added funds given by the city business, Saints Foundation will be able to push their project further along as they continue to work with players from across the region.

Speaking about the partnership, senior associate, Gemma Osgood, said that the companies’ values aligned perfectly.

“We are really proud to be joining forces with Saints Foundation. They do some incredible work in the community and the Para Football Academy is a perfect example of how they are changing lives and giving people opportunities to better themselves.

“It is a really exciting time to be joining up with the charity.”

Involvements manager, Robert Pearce, who oversees the Para Football Academy, was delighted to welcome Clarke Willmott into the fold.

He added: “It really makes a huge difference to have Clarke Willmott onboard with us. It allows to give participants the very best coaching, equipment and facilities as we continue to develop the players.

“We are also really grateful to Southampton Football Club for their support and we can’t wait to see what 2020 brings for Para Football Academy.”
